A World of Pain, Indeed

It took the doctor about 15 seconds of looking at my bare foot to diagnose at least part of the reason for my foot pain: I have a bunion. I might have two.

He also pointed out that this is obviously only part of my problem since I have pain and swelling all along the balls of my feet, and not just under my big toe. He referred me to a podiatrist in my insurance plan that he had heard good things about , and when I called for an appointment I was pleased to learn that he had an opening on Monday.

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Yikes! I've had bunions for so long (thanks to ballet lessons and going on "toe" WAY too early). I was going to have surgery to fix it but chickened out. I'm probably going to regret that someday.
