Despite some frustrations, it was all worth it. :)

Your baby blocks look great and someone sure seems to like them too! ;)

How cute! It looks like the blocks were quite a bit of work, but they came out great. What a super idea. Did you use a specific pattern?

Alison, I used a pattern from Knitting for Baby (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1584790873/qid=1043003898/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/102-6889660-5148950?v=glance&s=books). You probably don't need one, though. Just cut upholstery stuffing (available in craft stores) into cubes -- I did 3" x 3" x 3". Then knit square swatches slightly bigger than the block sides (I did 3.25" inches) using whatever stitches/patterns/colors you'd like. Block them, weave in ends, etc. Stitch them together inside out (sort of like a pillow case) leaving part of one side open. Turn right side out, shove the stuffing in through the opening and then sew the opening closed. Voila!
